Writer/director remaking mystery thriller.
THR reports that ‘The Forgiveness of Blood’ and ‘Maria Full of Grace’ director Joshua Marston has been hired to write and direct a remake of Italian thriller ‘The Double Hour.’
Directed by Giuseppe Capotondi and starring Ksenia Rappoport and Filippo Timi, the 2009 original follows a Slovenian hotel maid and an ex-cop who fall in love after meeting at a speed-dating event. When they retreat to his employer’s house in the Turin countryside, armed intruders shatter their romantic interlude and throw light on secrets from their pasts.
