Blind Side helmer tackles Electric Boy Genius
Blind Side helmer John Lee Hancock has been hired to direct the biopic Electric Boy Genius.
Doug Wright will write the script for the film that is based on a 2002 GQ article written by Andrew Corsello. The piece profiled Ryan Patterson, an electricity guru who won the International Science and Engineering Fair in 2001.
Gordon Gray and Mark Ciardi will produce the film.
Hancock previous works include The Rookie and The Alamo.
