Pair board remake of Italian thriller.
Joel Edgerton (‘The Great Gatsby,’ ‘Zero Dark Thirty’) has closed a deal to join ‘Oz The Great And Powerful’ star Michelle Williams for Joshua Marston’s remake of the 2009 Italian psychological thriller ‘The Double Hour.’
Directed by Giuseppe Capotondi and starring Ksenia Rappoport and Filippo Timi, the original follows Sonia and Guido, a chambermaid and an ex-cop, who meet at a speed dating event and a romance develops. But during a romantic getaway things suddenly take a dark turn.
Nicola Giuliano of Indigo Films will produce, alongside Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee and Paul Mezey of Journeyman Pictures.
