Joe Dante Goes BURYING THE EX With Anton Yelchin and Ashley Greene

Horror comedy to begin shooting next week…

Anton Yelchin (‘Odd Thomas,’ ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’), Ashley Greene (‘CBGB,’ ‘The Twilight Saga’), Alexandra Daddario (‘Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters,’ ‘White Collar’) and Oliver Cooper (‘Runner Runner,’ ‘Project X’) have been cast in ‘Burying the Ex,’ an indie horror-comedy that has Joe Dante (‘The Hole,’ ‘Gremlins’) attached to direct.

Scripted by Alan Trezza, based on his 2008 short film, the film sees Yelchin playing a smart, funny and all-around nice guy who is still coming to terms with his ex-girlfriend’s (Greene) recent passing. Determined to get on with his life, he agrees to go on a blind date with the cute and quirky Olivia (played by Daddario). Their date comes to an abrupt end when his dead ex shows up with an ultimatum. Some relationships never die.

Filming is set to get underway next week in Los Angeles with Nicolas Chartier’s Voltage Pictures on board to finance and produce. ArtImage Entertainment, Scooty Woop Entertainment and Act 4 Entertainment will co-produce.
