James McAvoy is the new Mr Darcy?
James McAvoy is reportedly bin talks for a lead role in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
Based on Seth Grahame-Smith novel of the same name, the film sees Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice told against the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse.
McAvoy is expected to play Mr Darcy in the adaptation, while Love and Other Drugs star Anne Hathaway has been named as a potential star to play Elizabeth Bennett.
The film is slated for a 2011 release.
