James Franco and Anne Hathaway confirmed for Oscars 2011.
James Franco and Anne Hathaway will host for the 2011 Academy Awards ceremony.
Producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer confirmed the duo have agreed to front the awards.
Speaking about the pair, Cohen and Mischer said the pair “personify the next generation of Hollywood icons”, and that they hoped the ceremony would allow the pair to “showcase their incredible talents and entertain the world”.
They added: “We are completely thrilled that James and Anne will be joining forces with our brilliant creative team to do just that.”
Both actors have been tipped for potential nominations in next year’s awards, for their roles in 127 Hours and Love and Other Drugs.
