Jaime King and Jamie Chung Added to SIN CITY 2 : A DAME TO KILL FOR

Two new additions as production begins.

Heat Vision is reporting that Jaime King (‘Silent Night,’ ‘Mother’s Day’) and Jamie Chung (‘The Hangover II,’ ‘Sucker Punch’) have joined the ensemble cast of Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s long-in-development sequel, ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.’

As previously reported the film, which began filming this week in Austin, will be using ‘A Dame to Kill For’ as the basis for the sequel along with new stories penned by Miller. Originally published in 1993, the storyline follows the hard-boiled antihero Dwight McCarthy (played by Clive Owen in the first film) as he becomes entangled in a complicated and deadly relationship with an ex-lover, the manipulative femme fatale Ava Lord.

King and Chung join returning stars Mickey Rourke (‘The Wrestler’), Jessica Alba (‘Machete’) and Rosario Dawson (’10 Years’), with King reprising her role of Wendy, the twin sister to the golden-haired prostitute Goldie. Chung will be replacing Devon Aoki in the role of the katana-wielding, roller-skating assassin Miho.

The role of Ava, originally written for Angelina Jolie, has yet to be cast. It is also unclear if Owen will be back to reprise his role of Dwight. In the comics, the character undergoes extreme facial surgery and reappears as a new man, so understandably the filmmakers could be looking to cast someone new.
