Reboot finds its Kyle Reese…
‘A Good Day to Die’ and ‘Jack Reacher’ actor Jai Courtney has reportedly beaten out the likes of Boyd Holbrook (‘The Host’), Wilson Bethel (‘Hart of Dixie’), and Sam Reid (‘Anonymous’) for the role of Kyle Reese in the forthcoming ‘Terminator’ reboot, ‘Terminator: Genesis.’
Courtney joins Emilia Clarke (‘Game of Thrones’), who is playing Sarah Connor, and fellow Australian Jason Clarke (‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’) as John Connor, the leader of the human resistance in the war against Skynet. Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to return to his iconic role as the unstoppable cyborg.
Alan Taylor (‘Thor: The Dark World’) is behind the camera for the reboot with the screenplay coming from Laeta Kalorgridis (‘Avatar,’ ‘Shutter Island’) and Patrick Lussier (‘Drive Angry’).
