Adapted from the 18th book in Lee Child’s series of suspense novels, the Edward Zwick-directed film finds Reacher (Tom Cruise) returning to his old military base, where Major Susan Turner (played by Cobie Smulders) has been arrested. Reacher also finds himself accused of a 16-year-old homicide.
