‘Ghostbusters’ director takes ‘Draft Day’

Ivan Reitman (‘No Strings Attached,’ ‘Evolution,’ ‘Stripes’) is attached to direct ‘Draft Day,’ a comedy set in the world of American football that was penned by Rajiv Joseph (‘Nurse Jackie’) and Scott Rothman (‘Frat Boys’).

According to Deadline, the script revolves around “the general manager of the Buffalo Bills as he spends the day of the National Football League draft frantically trying to get the number one pick for his struggling team.”

David Beaubaire and Josh Phillips will oversee the project for Paramount Pictures while Reitman will produce via The Montecito Picture Company.
