Deadline is reporting that Aussie actress Isla Fisher (‘Now You See Me,’ ‘The Great Gatsby’) has scored the lead in Blumhouse Picture’ supernatural thriller ‘Visions,’ with ‘Hell on Wheels’ actor Anson Mount co-starring.
In the Lucas Sussman-scripted film, Fisher plays expectant mother Julia (Fisher), who is plagued by strange and terrifying visions of a sinister hooded figure only she can see when she and her husband (Mount) move to the countryside. To protect her unborn child, she sets out to uncover the truth about what is haunting her as her husband becomes increasingly concerned for her well-being.
Kevin Greutert (‘Saw 3D’) is in the director’s chair for the micro-budgeted thriller, with Jim Parsons (‘The Big Bang Theory’), Gillian Jacobs (‘Community’), and Ellen Barkin (‘Ocean’s Thirteen’) also starring.
