Horror sequel gets its Ghostbusters back.
‘Insidious’ stars Leigh Whannell, Angus Sampson, Barbara Hershey and Andrew Astor have all reportedly signed on to reprise their roles of the upcoming low-budget sequel, ‘Insidious Chapter 2.’
A continuation of the 2010 horror hit, the sequel follows the fate of the Lambert family and their haunted house. Last month it was announced that Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, and Ty Simpkins were also coming back for the film.
The sequel will be directed by James Wan with the screenplay coming from Whannell.
Production on the sequel is set to begin in January in Los Angeles with Jason Blum, Brian Kavanaugh Jones, Oren Peli , Steven Schneider, and Charles Layton producing.
