First actor cast in the role of a dwarf
Ian McShane (‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,’ ‘44 Inch Chest’) has closed a deal to join ‘Snow White and the Huntsman,’ reports THR.
Directed by Rupert Sanders and starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin, the movie is a re-imagining of the classic fairy tale with Snow White escaping her evil stepmother with the help of the huntsman, who takes it upon himself to train her to survive and fight back.
McShane will take the role of Caesar, leader of the seven dwarfs. Casting for the rest of the dwarfs continues.
