Earlier this week it was revealed that Seth Gordon, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis were set to reteam for a sequel to their 2011 comedy ‘Horrible Bosses.’ Well it appears that the trio can’t get enough of each other, as THR has learned that they have all signed up for the Universal Pictures comedy thriller ‘One Night On The Hudson.’
Based on a spec script by T.J. Fixman (‘Ratchet & Clank,’ ‘Legends of the Dark Knight’), the plot revolves around “a by-the-books rookie cop on his first night on the job and his jaded veteran partner. The pair are tasked with transporting a federal witness from New Jersey to Manhattan. The only things standing between them: dirty cops, dirty criminals and the Hudson River.”
‘One Night On The Hudson’ will be produced by Disruption Entertainment’s Mary Parent and Cale Boyter with Scott Bernstein overseeing for the Universal.
