Mike Fleming over at Deadline is hearing that Anne Hathaway, Chloe Moretz, Sam Rockwell and Mark Webber (‘The End of Love’) are all in negotiations for the dark comedy ‘Laggies.’
Written by Andrea Seigel, the screenplay chronicles “perpetual adolescent and late-twenty-something Megan (Hathaway) who, freaked out by her boyfriend’s marriage proposal, pretends to go on a career retreat but actually hides out for a week with 16-year-old Annika (Moretz), her new best friend.”
Rockwell, who was last seen in ‘Seven Pyschopaths’ is said to be playing an older character named Craig, while Webber would be playing the Hathaway’s boyfriend.
Lynne Shelton (‘Touchy Feely,’ ‘Your Sister’s Sister,’ ‘Humpday’) is behind the camera for the film.
