Todd Phillips develops biopic about late stand-up and comic actor John Belushi
Todd Phillips is producing a biopic about late stand-up and comic actor John Belushi.
The Hangover director will prdocuce the picture with The Pursuit Of Happyness screenwriter Steven Conrad developing the project.
No actors have been confirmed for the part of Belushi, although Zach Galifianakis, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Ethan Suplee and Tyler Labine have been named as potential stars.
Belushi started his career in Chicago’s Second City comedy troupe before serving as one of the original Saturday Night Live cast members. He later appeared in movies Animal House, 1941 and The Blues Brothers. He died of a drug overdose in 1982 at the age of 33
