Spider-Man 3’s Lucy Gordon boards Serge Gainsbourg pic
Lucy Gordon has joined the cast of French-language movie about iconoclast Serge Gainsbourg’s rise to fame.
Gordon, who most recently appeared in “Spider-Man 3,” will play Jane Birkin in the project, which has a tentative title “Vie Heroique” (Heroic Life).
The project is scheduled to shoot in France and England beginning in January. French co-production and finance label Studio 37 partners on the movie, which marks the directorial debut of French graphic artist Joann Sfar.
The film also stars Eric Elmosnino as Gainsbourg, Laetitia Casta as Brigitte Bardot and Mylene Jampanoi as Bambou.
It traces Gainsbourg’s life from a young boy in 1940s occupied Paris and his subsequent transformation into a world-renowned poet, songwriter and singer.
