Twos Company but Threes a crowd at the 2009 Golden Globe awards
We thought Hugh Jackman was an odd choice of host for the 2009 Oscars but we’re even more surprised by the hosts for next years Golden Globes.
Jake Gyllenhaal, Glen Close and Ricky Gervais have been given the duty of presenting the 66th outing for the awards ceremony. Originally Ricky Gervais was favourite to host the Oscars after stealing the show at this years Emmy awards (see video below) but producers feared he wasn’t known enough in America.
Glen Close was previously announcer at the Oscars in 2002 but this is Gyllenhaal’s first turn at being a host.
The awards will take place on January 11th 2009.
