Video game adaptation to undergo rewrites.
Heat Vision is reporting that screenwriters Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan have been tapped to rewrite the video game adaptation ‘God of War.’
Created by David Jaffe and Shannon Studstill and released in 2005m the third person action-adventure game follows the battles of the warrior Kratos, who squares off against mythological beasts including Medusa, Cyclops and the Hydra in his quest to find Pandora’s Box and destroy Ares, Greek god of war.
Melton and Dunstan’s previous credits include four installments of the ‘Saw’ series, ‘Piranha 3DD,’ and most recently Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Pacific Rim.’
