Actress in talks for thriller.
Deadline reports that Genesis Rodriguez (‘The Last Stand,’ ‘Casa de mi Padre,’ ‘Man on a Ledge’) is in negotiations to star opposite Paul Walker in the post-Hurricane Katrina indie thriller ‘Hours.’
Walker stars a father fighting to keep his newborn daughter alive in a New Orleans hospital after Katrina ravages the city.
The project marks the feature directing debut of screenwriter Eric Heisserer (‘The Thing,’ ‘Final Destination 5,’ ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’). Production is expected to kick off this month in Louisiana.
