Variety has learned that Jennifer Lee, who wrote, and co- Walt Disney Animation’s smash hit ‘Frozen’ with Chris Buck, has lined up an adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s sci-fi novel ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ for her next project.
Published in 1962, the fantasy novel follows four children as they travel through time and visit strange worlds in order to find their missing scientist father.
Jim Whitaker (‘The Odd Life of Timothy Green,’ ‘American Gangster’) will produce the film with Catherine Hand, who produced the 2003 TV movie adaptation of ‘A Wrinkle of Time.’
