Veteran actor signs up for comedy.
Oscar-winner Morgan Freeman is now confirmed be joining fellow Oscar-winners Michael Douglas and Robert De Niro on the cast of the Jon Turtletaub-directed comedy ‘Last Vegas.’
The screenplay by Dan Fogelman (‘Crazy, Stupid, Love,’ ‘Tangled’) follows four friends of retirement age who reunite in the City of Sin to throw a bachelor party for the only one of them who has remained single.
Freeman will be taking the role of Archie Clay, an army veteran, who looks to escape the watchful eyes of his son and daughter-in-law and accompany his best friends on the trip to Vegas.
Christopher Walken’s name is still being linked to the project but has yet to be confirmed.
