Four More Board SUITE FRANCAISE Adaptation

Period piece fills out supporting cast as production begins.

Sam Riley (‘Byzantium,’ ‘On The Road’), Ruth Wilson (‘The Lone Ranger,’ ‘Luther’), Margot Robbie (‘The Wolf Of Wall Street,’ ‘About Time’), and Alexandra Maria Lara (‘Rush,’ ‘Downfall’) have all joined the cast of Saul Dibb’s WWII drama ‘Suite Française.’

With Michelle Williams and Mathias Schoenaerts headlining, the film is based on Irène Némirovsky’s novel of the same name and follows Lucile Angellier (Williams), an unhappily married young woman who falls for a German soldier (Schoenaerts) in Nazi-occupied France. Kristin Scott Thomas co-stars.

Filming on the adaptation kicked off this week in Brussels with Dibb helming from a screenplay he co-wrote with Matt Charman. The film has the backing of The Weinstein Company, Entertainment One Films and BBC Films.
