FIFTY SHADES OF GREY Adds Marcia Gay Harden and Rita Ora

Erotic thriller now in production…

Oscar-winner Marcia Gay Harden and British singer-songwriter/actress Rita Ora have scored supporting roles on the forthcoming adaptation of E L James’ popular erotic novel ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ reports Variety.

With Mark Bomback (‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,‘ ‘The Wolverine’) providing the screenplay, the film follows the relationship of seductive billionaire Christian Grey (played by Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan) and college student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).

Filming on the erotic thriller is underway in Vancouver with a supporting cast that includes Jennifer Ehle (‘Contagion’), Eloise Mumford (‘The River’), Luke Grimes (‘True Blood’), Victor Rasuk (‘Lords of Dogtown’), and Max Martini (‘Pacific Rim’).

Harden is set for the role of Dr. Grace Grey, Christian’s adoptive mother. Ora, whose previous acting credits include a role in the British dramedy ‘Spivs,’ and a cameo appearance in ‘Fast & Furious 6,’ will be taking the role of Mia, the adopted younger sister of Christian.
