Cult comic Fear Agent is go for launch!
Cult comic book Fear Agent could be heading to cinema screens courtesy of Dark Horse Entertainment.
The picture is in the early stages of development, with the project currently out to writers, although a spec script owned by Air Force One producer Jonathan Shestack could result in his being brought on-board to oversee production.
Fear Agent centers on a borderline alcoholic astronaut named Heath Huston, a Texan who works as a so-called fear agent, the last of a dwindling breed of spacemen whose mission it is to fight threats to the planet Earth, which is partly destroyed during the course of the series.
Rick Remender penned the series, which began life in 2005 as an Image Comics property before moving to Dark Horse the following year.
