Australian actor in talks for heist thriller.
Variety reports that Eric Bana (‘Hanna,’ ‘Star Trek’) is in negotiations to star in diamond-heist thriller ‘Brilliant.’
‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘The Ugly Truth’ director Robert Luketic is attached to direct, with the story revolving around a small-time criminal who teams up with a group of experienced thieves for a diamond heist.
The screenplay comes from ‘Blood Diamond’ producer Gillian Gorfil. ‘Brilliant’ will mark Gorfil’s feature writing debut. Sidney Kimmel, Gary Lucchesi and Tom Rosenberg are on board to produce alongside Gorfil,
