Emily Blunt Replacing Emma Watson for YOUR VOICE IN MY HEAD

Upcoming drama swaps out its female lead.

This time last year it was revealed that Emma Watson (‘Bling Ring,’ ‘The Perks of Being Wallflower’) and Stanley Tucci (‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,’ ‘Jack the Giant Slayer’) were set to team with director David Yates for the drama ‘Your Voice in My Head.’

A couple of months later it was announced that Yates had exited the project due to “conflicting schedules and ongoing commitments.” Now Digital Spy has learned that Watson has also dropped out, with Tucci’s ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ co-star and sister-in-law Emily Watson (‘Looper,’ ‘All We Need Is Kill’) stepping in to play the film’s lead.

Scripted by British journalist Emma Forrest and based on her own memoir, the drama centres on “a young woman (Blunt) who, after the demise of her relationship with a nationally respected journalist, attempts suicide before being saved by a terminally ill psychiatrist.”

A replacement for Yates has yet to be announced.
