Ellen Page Making Directorial Debut with MISS STEVENS

Anna Faris to headline the film.

Actress Ellen Page (‘Whip It!,’ ‘Juno,’ ‘Inception’) is to make her directorial debut with ‘Miss Stevens,’ stepping behind the camera to direct Anna Faris who’ll be playing the title character.

Written by Julia Hart (‘The Keeping Room’), the film centres on “a teacher whose life is in disarray when she chaperones a group of high schoolers on a weekend trip to a state drama competition. There, through the admiration and humanity of her students, she rediscovers her own self-worth.”

Gilbert Films (‘The Kids Are All Right’) and Anonymous Content (‘Winter’s Bone’) will co-produce.
