Elba, Rapace, and Worthington Join ALIVE ALONE

Trio set for Khurram Longi-directed thriller…

Multiple outlets are reporting that Idris Elba, Noomi Rapace, and Sam Worthington are set to co-star in New York-set thriller ‘Alive Alone.’

The feature, which marks the directorial debut of scribe Khurram Longi, sees ‘Luther’ and ‘Thor: The Dark World’ star Elba playing an ex-detainee of Guantanamo Bay working as a taxi driver. Rapace will take the role of a prostitute on the run from a feared crime boss (to be played by Worthington). When their worlds collide, they unexpectedly find salvation in one another.

Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts (‘Rust and Bone’) was initially set to star, but according to Deadline had to exit for personal reasons.

Basil Iwanyk of Thunder Road is producing with Michael Benaroya’s Benaroya Pictures financing. Rapace will also serve as executive producer on the project.
