Edgar Ramirez has been offered the role of Ares, the God of War, in the sequel Wrath of the Titans, reports Deadline.
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, Ramirez is expected to star alongside Sam Worthington for the sequel.
Perhaps best known for his role in The Bourne Ultimatum, Ramierz received a Golden Globes and SAG Award nominations for his performance as terrorist Carlos the Jackal in the five and one-half hour Olivier Assayas-directed biopic Carlos.
