Drew Barrymore to helm Surrender Dorothy
Drew Barrymore is attached to helm Wizard of Oz sequel Surrender Dorothy.
The story centres on Dorothy Gale’s great, great granddaughter who must learn to use the power of the ruby slippers to stop the Wicked Witch of the West from overtaking the Kingdom of Oz.
The actress was orginally planning to star in the project, however she is now slated to direct.
Another Oz sequel is also in the works with Robert Downey Jr reportedly attached to star.
