Four more join Hollywood legends for action thriller.
Vincent D’Onofrio (‘Chronicle’), Amy Ryan (‘Win Win’), Vinnie Jones (‘Kill the Irishman’) and 50 Cent are set to join Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and James Caviezel for Mikael Håfström’s action thriller ‘The Tomb,’ reports Variety.
Stallone plays Ray Breslin, the world’s foremost authority on structural security who is framed and put in a high-security prison of his own design. Breslin must put his skills to the test to find out who put him there.
According to the trade, D’Onofrio will play the deputy director of the Prisons Bureau who convinces Stallone to take one last job before he retires. Ryan takes the role of Stallone’s business partner and potential love interest, while Jones will play Drake, a ruthless guard with no moral compass who enjoys making life difficult for Breslin. There is no info on what role 50 Cent will play.
Production on the $70 million film is scheduled to kick off later this month in New Orleans.
