If you find yourself near Kerry this Patrick’s weekend then be sure to check out some of these movies
Each year the Dingle Film Festival brings together, diverse creative minds, to discuss and experience film, creating energised spaces that amplify the thoughts and ideas of those willing to plug-in to this electrifying network of ideas.
This year, the festival opens with a movie about itself! WE’LL ALWAYS HAVE DINGLE is a docudramedy, using RED technology and cinema verite HD to tell the story of Dingle and Maurice Galway, the gutsy festival organizer who gave up everything to start a young Sundance-like film festival.
Highlights of this years festival include screenings of WEST IS WEST, A TURTLES TALE and HOWL.
Special guests include Lenny Abrahamson and Mark O’Halloran, the creative duo behind hit Irish film ADAM & PAUL. Other guests include director Conor Horgan, who will introduce his two films THE BEHOLDER & DEEP END DANCE, while Jimmy T. Murakami & Sé Merry Doyle will introduce NON-ALIEN.
