Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has confirmed, via Twitter, that is re-teaming with David Fincher to score the soundtrack for the filmmaker’s upcoming thriller ‘Gone Girl.’

“and yes, Atticus and I are scoring David Fincher’s upcoming Gone Girl!” tweeted Reznor, who along with frequent collaborator Ross, worked with Fincher on the scores for ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ and ‘The Social Network,’ the latter of which earned them an Oscar.

Based on the Gillian Flynn acclaimed bestselling novel, ‘Gone Girl’ stars Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne, a man whose wife (Rosamund Pike) disappears on the day of their fifth anniversary — and all roads point to him as the killer.

Co-starring Neil Patrick Harris, Missi Pyle, Tyler Perry, Patrig Fugit, Casey Wilson, Scott McNairy, Kim Dickens, and Emily Ratajkowski, ‘Gone Girl’ hits Irish cinemas later this year.
