British actor Dan Stevens, best known for his role in ‘Downton Abbey,’ is set to star in the Ido Fluk-directed indie ‘The Ticket,’ according to reports.
Scheduled to begin filming in August in New York, the film follows “a blind man who regains his vision only to be engulfed in selfishness, blinded by his obsession for the superficial.”
‘Rampart’ and ‘The Messenger’ writer-director Oren Moverman is on board to produce.
Stevens will next be seen heading up Adam Wingard’s psychological thriller ‘The Guest’ when it opens in Irish cinemas in September 4th, followed by a supporting role in the Liam Neeson-led action thriller ‘A Walk Among the Tombstones.’
