Tom Cruise will NOT go evil for Shrek 4.
Tom Cruise has denied rumours that he is to voice a part in the next Shrek film.
Despite a flurry of stories on the Web over the past two weeks, a spokesperson for Cruise dismissed the claims stating: “As of today, there is no truth to the Tom Cruise-Shrek 4 rumour.” DreamWorks declined to comment on the stories.
Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas are expected to return for the fourth instalment in the franchise, which is due for release in 2010.
Cruise will next be seen in a cameo role in this weekend’s big release ‘Tropic Thunder’.
