Crime Thriller TERM LIFE Reunites Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau

Comic book adaptation now in production…

Jon Favreau has become the latest addition to the cast of the Vince Vaughn and Hailee Steinfeld-led crime thriller ‘Term Life,’ reports Deadline.

Based on the Image Comics title by A.J. Lieberman and Nick Thornborrow, the film sees Vaughn playing Nick Barrow, “a low-life who specializes in planning heists and tricks before selling them off to the highest bidder. When one of his heists goes bad, everyone involved wants him dead, from mob bosses to corrupt cops. Performing the last act of a desperate man, Nick takes out a million dollar insurance policy on himself, payable to his estranged daughter (Steinfeld). The problem? The policy doesn’t take effect for 21 days.”

Jonathan Banks (‘Community,’ ‘Breaking Bad’), Shea Whigham (‘The Wolf of Wall Street,’ ‘True Detective’), Bill Paxton (‘Edge of Tomorrow,’ ‘2 Guns’), Mike Epps (‘The Hangover,’ ‘Sparkle’), and Spanish actor Jordi Mollà (‘Riddick,’ ‘Heart of the Sea’) also star.

Filming is underway with Vaughn’s regular collaborator Peter Billingsley (‘Couples Retreat’) behind the camera. Vaugh, Micah Mason, and Victoria Vaugh are producing via their banner Wild West Picture Show Productions.
