Two more join political thriller
Robert Redford has cast Chris Cooper and Stanley Tucci for his upcoming political thriller ‘The Company You Keep.’
The movie stars Redford as an ex-Weather Underground militant wanted by the FBI for 30 years. When his true identity is exposed by a young, ambitious reporter (played by Shia LaBeouf) he goes on the run.
According to Screen Daily, Cooper will be playing the brother of Redford’s character while Tucci will be take the role of LaBeouf’s editor.
‘The Company You Keep’ is based on Neal Gordon’s novel of the same name, and will co-star Brit Marling, Nick Nolte, Susan Sarandon, Julie Christie, Stephen Root and Richard Jenkins. The thriller will begin shooting in the coming weeks.
