Clive Owen Finds BLUE ANGEL

Owen signs on for Richard Levine-helmed thriller.

Variety is reporting that British actor Clive Owen has closed a deal to headline the signed on to star in the psychological thriller ‘Blue Angel.’

Adapted from Francine Prose’s 2000 novel of the same name, the film will see Owen playing Swenson, a disillusioned professor in a New England creative writing program who finds his life re-energized by a gifted young writing student by the name of Angela Argo.

Described as a “psychological roller coaster ride between sex, seduction and emotional manipulation,” the film will be written and directed by Richard Levine (‘Every Day,’ ‘Nip/Tuck’). Lars Knudsen and Jay Van Hoy will produce.
