Owen takes starring role in new action thriller.
Clive Owen (‘Killer Elite,’ ‘Shoot ‘Em Up’) is attached to star in the action thriller ‘Recall,’ reports Variety.
Owen will play “an NSA agent trying to piece together the events of a botched hostage rescue operation. As he begins to recall events and unearth the truth, he finds he can trust neither his fellow soldiers nor his own mind.”
Production is slated for a mid-March start date, with ‘Mercury Rising helmer Harold Becker set to direct. Owen will next be seen starring in the Juan Carlos Fresnadillo-directed ‘Intruders.’ The supernatural thriller opens in cinemas across the country January 2012.
