Actress heading down under for drama.
Christina Ricci is to topline the Australian feel-good film ‘Around the Block’ for writer/director Sarah Spillane reports Inside Film Australia.
In the film Ricci will be play an “unconventional American drama teacher Dino Chalmers, who develops a friendship with 16-year-old Australian-Aboriginal boy Liam (played by Hunter Page-Lochard), who is torn between his unexpected love of theatre and the disintegration of his family.”
Jack Thompson (‘The Great Gatsby’), Matthew Nable (‘Killer Elite’), Damien Walshe-Howling (‘Terra Nova’), Daniel Henshall (‘The Snowtown Murders’) and model Ruby Rose will co-star. Production kicks off this week.
