Chris Columbus says Hello Ghost!
Chris Columbus will reportedly remake Hello Ghost, a Korean film by the director Kim Young-tak
The Korean comedy followed a depressed man who sees ghosts after a suicide attempt; it attracted over 3 million admissions locally when it opened in theaters last year:
“The film has gotten remake offers from a number of major Hollywood studios,” said NEW, the Korean distributor, in a statement Wednesday. “We were happy to make a decision after getting an offer from a director who possess a wide fan base.”
