Charlize Theron in Talks for THE LAST SPACE

Sean Penn to direct…

TheWrap is hearing that Charlize Theron (‘Dark Places,’ ‘Prometheus’) has entered into talks to star in the African drama ‘The Last Space.’

Set up as a directing vehicle for actor-turned-filmmaker Sean Penn, the film is said to concern “human encounters within the refugee camps in Sudan, Liberia.”

‘Blue Is the Warmest Colour’ star Adèle Exarchapoulos is also on board, for what the French actress has described as a “small role.” Penn is expected to get the cameras rolling this summer.

Theron will next be seen starring alongside Seth McFarlane, Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Neil Patrick Harris, Giovanni Ribisi and Sarah Silverman in ‘A Million Ways To Die In The West’ when it hits Irish cinemas in May 30th.
