Micro-budget thriller adds two more…

Dutch actress Carice van Houten (‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Black Book,’ ‘Zwartboek’) has scored the female lead opposite Aaron Eckhart (‘I, Frankenstein,’ ‘Olympus Has Fallen’) in the supernatural thriller ‘Incarnate,’ according to THR.

With Brad Peyton (‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’) behind the camera directing from a script by Ronnie Christensen (‘Dark Tide’), the film sees Eckhart playing “an unconventional exorcist with the ability to tap into the subconscious of the possessed, who meets his match when a 9-year-old boy is possessed by a demon from his past.”

Van Houten will take the role of the young boy’s mother, with ‘Maria Full of Grace’ actress Catalina Sandino Moreno co-starring. David Mazouz (‘Touch,’ ‘The Games Maker’) will play the young boy.

Jason Blum will produce the micro-budget project with Couper Samuelson, Michael Seitzman, Stuart Ford, Charles Layton, and Trevor Engelson executive producing.
