Cage Travolta To ReTeam For Two Movies

Face Off co-stars reteaming.

Vulture is reporting that ‘Face Off’ co-stars, Nicolas Cage and John Travolta are to reteam for not one but two unrelated projects.

The first project, ‘Shrapnel,’ penned by Evan Dougherty centers around “a former Bosnian soldier who seeks vengeance against the American who badly wounded him by disguising a deadly war game as a friendly backwoods hunting trip.” The movie was originally planned with John McTiernan in mind to direct, but production was put on hold after the director was fined €71,000 and sentenced to a year in prison for perjuring himself to FBI agents who were investigating the Anthony Pellicano Hollywood wiretap case, in which producer Charles Roven was involved.

The second movie, an indie thriller, is coincidentally being produced by Roven and is set to be directed by ‘City Island’ director Raymond De Felitta. Titled ‘Sea Trial,’ the movie is based on the eponymous novel by the director’s father, Frank De Felitta.
