More line up to board the creature feature reboot.
Heat Vision is reporting that ‘Breaking Bad’ star Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen (‘Kill Your Darlings’) are in talks for roles in the Gareth Edwards-directed reboot of ‘Godzilla.’
Character descriptions and plot details are under wraps for now, but there is talk that the film will feature at least two monsters with the story being told from the point of view of a soldier. Edwards has previously stated that he wants to bring the King of the Monsters back to his “epic roots with a gritty, realistic actioner.”
As revealed last month, Aaron Johnson (‘Kick-Ass’) has been offered the lead in the film, but will wait for Frank Darabont to finish up his rewrite of the script before signing on the dotted line.
‘Godzilla’ is currently scheduled for a March production start with release set for May 2014.
