Indie dramedy boasts impressive cast.
Brian Petsos (‘Bridesmaids’), Oscar Isaac (‘Drive’), Elijah Wood (‘The Hobbit’), Adam Brody (‘Scream 4’), Ryan Phillippe (‘The Lincoln Lawyer’), Kristen Wiig (‘Bridesmaids’), David Rasche (‘Burn After Reading’), Kevin Corrigan (‘The Dictator’), Garret Dillahunt (‘Cogan’s Trade’), Bobby Moynihan (‘When in Rome’), and Gillian Jacobs (‘Community’) are all attached to the recently wrapped dramedy ‘Revenge for Jolly!’
Directed by short filmmaker Chadd Harbold, the movie follows a man (Petsos) who, with the help of his cousin (Isaac), seeks to avenge the death of his beloved dog, who was killed under confusing and suspicious circumstances. The two men follow a series of clues in an attempt to track down the dog’s murderer, leaving a path of destruction in their wake.
The movie is the debut of Atlas Independent, the newly-formed affiliate company of Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment.
