THR is hearing that Abigail Breslin (‘Zombieland,’ ‘Little Miss Sunshine’) is set to star opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Black List father-daughter zombie tale ‘Maggie.’
With Henry Hobson directing, the film takes place as a “walking dead” virus spreads across America and follows a father who has to help his eldest daughter come to terms with her infection, as she slowly becomes a flesh-eating zombie.
Schwarzenegger is producing the film alongside Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, Matt Baer, Trevor Kaufman, Colin Bates and Joey Tufaro.
Breslin will next be seen starring opposite Halle Berry in the Brad Anderson-directed thriller ‘The Call’ when it opens in Irish cinemas in September.
