Cooper eyes crime thriller.
Variety is reporting that Bradley Cooper (‘The Place Beyond the Pines,’ ‘The Hangover’) is in talks to star in ‘Bad Blood and Trouble,’ a 1950s-set crime thriller that will be penned and directed by British writer-director J Blakeson (‘The Disappearance of Alice Creed’).
The official plot is being kept under wraps but according to according to the trade the thriller would see Cooper playing “a Miami detective in love with a married woman whose husband has been targeted by a group of criminals.”
Adrian Sturges is on board to produce via his Iota Films banner along with Michael De Luca. Principal photography is being planned for late 2013.
