Cooper headlining crime thriller…
‘American Hustle’ and ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ star Bradley Cooper is attached to produce and star in a feature adaptation of the upcoming crime novel ‘American Blood,’ THR has learned.
The first in a planned trilogy of novels by New Zealand-based author Ben Sanders, the crime drama follows Marshall Grade, “an NYPD officer turned mob informant, who, while living in the witness protection program in New Mexico, is pulled into a dangerous investigation involving a missing woman.”
Andrew Sodroski (‘Holland, Michigan’) is on board to adapt the script. Cooper is producing the project with his 22nd & Indiana banner partner Adam Kassan, along with John Lesher.
